Terms and Conditions
Last updated 18 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Maxi-Q Statistics, supplied by MicroMultimedia Pty Ltd (ABN 96 061 306 698), Sydney, Australia. By buying or using the software you agree to these terms.
1. Who you are buying from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries relating to payment, billing, invoices and tax, and handles returns on our instruction.
MicroMultimedia Pty Ltd remains responsible for the software itself and for support relating to its use.
2. The licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Maxi-Q Statistics for the period you have paid for. The software is licensed, not sold.
A licence is issued to one named person, for use by this person only. Each copy carries the name of the licensee to whom it was issued.
You may not copy, redistribute, publish, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software, in whole or in part, or remove or alter any notice of ownership within it.
3. The software
The data you enter stays on your own machine: we do not receive, view, store or process the measurements, process data or documents with which you work.
4. Price, billing and renewal
The price is shown on our pricing page. Tax is added at checkout where your country requires it.
Licences renew automatically each year until cancelled. Paddle notifies you before each renewal. You may cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt; your licence then runs to the end of the period for which you have already paid.
We may change the price for future renewals. Any change will be notified before it takes effect, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
5. The free trial
The trial is the complete product for seven days and does not require payment details. One trial is available per person. At the end of the trial access stops unless a licence is bought; nothing is charged automatically.
6. Refunds
Our refund policy forms part of these terms.
7. Support and updates
A licence includes email support and every update released during your licence year. We do not guarantee a response within a fixed time, but we answer every enquiry.
8. Exclusions
Maxi-Q Statistics is a tool for analysing data. It does not make decisions and it cannot know whether the data you give it was collected sensibly. The conclusions you draw, and what you do about them, remain yours.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under Consumer Laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
Information Only: All information, materials, and advice provided by the Provider are for general informational purposes only. The Provider does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any material.
Independent Investigation: You acknowledge and agree that you must rely solely on your own independent research, investigations, and verification before making any financial, legal, or business decisions.
No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or expense incurred as a result of your reliance on the material provided, or for any errors or omissions in that material.
To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided as it stands, and our total liability for any claim arising from it is limited to the amount you paid for your current licence period.
10. Ending the licence
We may end a licence if these terms are breached, in particular if the software is copied or redistributed. Where we do so without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period paid for.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that State have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
